Sources of Funding – Current and Planned • Lehigh University: $15,000,000 for Optoelectronics/Photonics, Information Technology, over the next 5-7 years • Pennsylvania Technology Investment Authority(PTIA): $1,000,000 awarded for FY00-01 to create the center • A proposal for $25,000,000 over the next 5 years has been submitted for initial funding in FY01-02 • Private Industry: $7,500,000 over the next 5 years from joint university – industry research and liaison programs
