FY2000 Access Grid Deployment Update • Activity: • Working with Kansas and OSC AG Deployment in preparation for the Chatauqua. • Working with Atlanta (Allison Clark, EOT) to deploy an AG node. • Ran the AG tutorial. • Involved in deployment committee. • Operation and development updates of the AG Beacon. • Intensive support of UNM/Shiprock AG presidential (un)demo. • Participants: • Lisa Childers, Bob Olson, Terry Disz, Bob Olson, several students. • Non-Alliance leveraged activity: • AG development, funded from many sources.

  3. FY2000 VMR Deployment Update • Activity: • Participation in VMR meetings and phone calls, all of which are still in planning mode. • Massive effort going into HPSS server in order to support distributed storage experiments. Much of this is not Alliance-supported, but is a leveraged activity. • A great deal of informal cluster interaction with the various other cluster sites. • Participants: • Bill Nickless, Remy Evard, Gene Rackow, John-Paul Navarro.
