This study investigates the survival rates and DNA damage response in various FANCJ variants, including FANCJ-WT, FANCJ-Q25A, and FANCJ-ΔQ, in comparison to control groups cultured with GFP and vector. Surviving cell percentages and γ-H2AX foci formation were assessed to evaluate DNA repair efficiency and the influence of mutations on cellular response to DNA damage. The results underscore the importance of FANCJ’s function in maintaining genomic stability and provide insights into alternative cancer therapeutic strategies.
