  1. Are you interested in College Work-Study?

  2. Objectives of the Work-Study Program are to provide • A source of financial assistance for students with demonstrated financial need; • Work experiences which complement the participant’s education; • Services that otherwise would not exist to the participating public institutions and agencies.

  3. Work-Study Requirements • Complete an error-free Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA); • Must maintain at least 2.0 GPA; • Must maintain Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress(FASAP); • Must be enrolled at least half time in an eligible field of study; • All classes must be a part of your primary major.

  4. As a work study student… • You will be paid minimum wage ($7.79 per hour). • You can work a maximum of 15 hours per week.

  5. Work-Study Students are expected to… • Perform assignments in a serious and responsible manner; • Follow a pre-determined work schedule; • Practice prefect attendance and punctuality; • Maintain an accurate timesheet; • Notify Human Resources, Admissions/Registration and Financial Aid offices of any changes, i.e. name, address, phone, exemptions, etc…

  6. Performance Standards • You are expected to perform your duties in accordance with the standards established by your department. • You must work at least 10 hours per week, but no more than 15 hours per week. • You are not allowed to work during your scheduled classes.

  7. Conditions of Employment As a part of the Work-Study program you will have an ethical responsibility to maintain a certain level of respect for the College, its faculty, staff and students.
