  1. I Surrender All A new year brings about a new theme... Our theme for 2013 is “I Surrender All” Our First Sunday Of the Month Lessons will be theme-focused

  2. I Surrender All Jesus always spoke the truth when he talked with those he came in contact with He always wanted people to know up front what was expected of them

  3. I Surrender All Jesus made it clear that anything less than fulldevotion to him was simply not good enough He was not looking for half-hearted devotion Consider the following verse...

  4. I Surrender All Luke 14:33 – “So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be my disciple” Forsake – Literally to say Adieu To say goodbye to all you have means to surrender

  5. I Surrender All The verse that we chose for our theme comes from Matthew 22:37... “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” How do we give God our all?

  6. I Surrender my heart Jesus called us to love god with our hearts Does Jesus have your heart? Does Jesus have your heart 24/7, 365? Think about the Rich Young Ruler in Matthew 19:16-22

  7. I Surrender my heart His heart still belonged to his riches His heart was still centered and focused on the things of this world He followed the commandments as long as it fit his lifestyle

  8. I Surrender my heart Does your heart belong to money or “things”? Does your heart belong to your job? Does your heart belong to a man/woman pulling you away from god?

  9. I Surrender my Soul This begins by becoming a child of the King It doesn’t end there, but it starts there Some have not been willing to do even this

  10. I Surrender my Soul Felix said, “Go away for now; when I have a convenienttime I will call for you” (Acts 24:25) Felix understood all that Paul taught, but was not willing to give Jesus his soul

  11. I Surrender my Soul Agrippa said, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian” (AX 26:28) Word soul also means “breath” It’s more than just being submerged into water...it’s giving him your very life

  12. I Surrender my Mind Christ also spoke of loving God with all our mind Does God control your thoughts? II Cor. 10:5 – “...bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”

  13. I Surrender my Mind That’s why Paul tells us to think on good things (Phil. 4:8) Judas was an Apostle of Christ, but he had not surrendered his mind John 12:3-6 tells of how Judas had his mind fixed upon money

  14. I Surrender my Mind How much of your daily thoughts are taken up with things of God? Have you surrendered those thoughts to God? DO you still dream of worldly things?
