  2. 1. Why does the Green Knight come seeking King Arthur? • to give him a present • to fight him • to challenge him

  3. 2. What is the challenge that he offers them? • you chop my head off and I’ll chop your head off later • b. you eat my soup and I’ll eat your soup later • c. fight me in hand to hand combat

  4. 3.Why does the Green Knight mock them? • because no one accepts the challenge • because he wants to make them mad • because he is a mean person
