  2. Amelia Earhart was born in Atchison, Kansas. In 1897.

  3. Amelia had parents named Amy and Edwin. She also had a sister named Muriel.

  4. She also played golf, swam, and enjoyed the sunshine.

  5. Earhart usually visited Eleanor Roosevelt and once took her flying.

  6. She was the first women to fly across the Atlantic Ocean, alone.

  7. One outfit she wore a leather jacket, her flying helmet and her goggles.

  8. In 1931 she married a man named George Putnam.

  9. She died in 1937. Boo Woo!
