  1. Friends of Pinewood Friends of Pinewood is a committee of people who have one common aim. What is our aim: To raise extra funds to support the social and academic development of the children attending the school. How do we do it? We organise fundraising events throughout the year. We are always open to ideas for how we can do this. Events in the past have included a Christmas Fayre, Ladies Night (salsa dancing lessons), Spring Fayre etc. What do we spend the money on? The money goes towards ensuring all the children are able to participate in school trips, the annual school pantomime and various other items. How can you support FoP? There are many ways you can be involved as we are always looking for volunteers! Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends are all welcome and any help that you can offer would be much appreciated! Meetings: We tend to meet after dropping the children at school and meetings don’t last any longer than 30 minutes. If you are unable to make the meetings but would still like to offer your time, it will be greatly appreciated. To find out more please contact the school and provide you name and contact number.
