  3. Traveling • Started traveling at 13 • Traveled to Italy • Lasted from 1769-1773 • While traveling: • Rewrote the score Miserere from memory • Wrote two opera’s: Mitridate and Lucio • Wrote a Serenata and String Quartet

  4. Asst. Concert Master • Ordained Asst. Concert master in 1773 • Was only 17 • Wrote five violin concertos • His only violin concertos • Wrote first piano concerto • No. 9 E flat major

  5. Growing tired • Left home town in 1777 • Traveled with Mother Anna • No success in finding work • Great opportunities, no luck • Mother Anna Maria Dies • July 3 1778
