Olympic Learning and Fun in Room 2: Upcoming Activities and Important Dates

Next week in Room 2, we'll continue exploring the Olympics and engage in our Pre-K Olympics events. Our focus will be on the letter “Uu” and the star word “and.” Important upcoming dates include Winter Recess from February 17th to 21st with no school. Last week was busy as we started discussing teamwork, created a classroom banner for the Pre-K Olympics, made friendship torches, groundhog number lines, and worked on our “E is for egg” project. Please encourage your child to identify words starting with “Ee” and practice our sight words at home. Thank you!

  1. Room 2 Our Upcoming Week 2/10-2/14 Next week we will continue to learn about the Olympics and participate in the Pre-K Olympics. We will learn about the letter “Uu” and star word “and”. Upcoming Important Dates Winter Recess February 17th – 21st No School Our Busy Week 2/3 – 2/7 We had a busy week in Room 2! We started to talk about Olympics and teamwork. We made a classroom banner to represent Room 2 in the Pre-K Olympics. We made friendship torches, groundhog number lines and an “E is for egg” project. Ways to Help at Home Reminders - Talk about words that start with the letter “Ee” - Look at a book together and see if your child can identify the sight words we have learned: is, the, a, I, this, it, see, my, in. With the 100th day of school quickly approaching, talk with your child about how large the number 100 is and how much smarter they have grown over the past 100 days!
