The PRESERV Partners Meeting, held on November 18, 2005, at the University of Southampton, focused on improving digital research preservation strategies. Key discussions led by Tim Brody highlighted the functionalities of the University of Southampton's e-Prints Soton repository, which integrates all research output, including metadata and full texts where possible. Workshops on self-archiving, stakeholder engagement, and repository scaling were also featured, aiming to address challenges in research preservation, accessibility, and user engagement. Insights on options for certification and collaboration with research funders were key takeaways for stakeholders.
