  2. PEDIATRIC IMMUNOLOGY AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES Infectious diseases and immunology go hand in hand. A poor immune system leads to more susceptibility towards infectious diseases like sinusitis, pneumonia, abscesses etc. The bacteria normally live on the skin, eyelids, nose, and mouth and in the gut. These bacteria are called normal flora. The normal bacteria in our mouths protect us by decreasing the chance that we will become infected with harmful bacteria and fungi but the normal balance of bacteria can be upset by antibiotics and some illnesses.

PEDIATRIC ALLERGY AND RESPIRATORY DISORDER Allergic asthma is an obstructive lung disease linked to environmental exposures that elicit allergic airway inflammation and characteristic antigen-specific immunoglobulin reactions termed atopy. Some children suffer from chronic illnesses that affect the breathing system. If we talk about ENT Problem in Children that ocuur through Ear, nose and throat which is very common among children and 75% have at least one infection before they turn three. Two years old Children are more prone to ear and nose infections because of their undeveloped immune system to fight common viruses and bacteria.
