  3. Welcome to Web Time Entry • Web Time Entry can be accessed from any computer with internet access. • From Columbus State’s home page click the cursor on the drop down menu to the far right as illustrated on the next slide.

  4. Select CougarWeb

  5. Click Cougar Web for Employees

  6. Click Log In Click Log In

  7. Enter Novell user ID and password Click Submit once

  8. Click on Time Entry Link

  9. Click on box to choose position

  10. Tips • You may only enter time for the current pay period. • Enter your time in and time out for each work day. • Whole hour entries may be entered as 8A or 8p. • Hours and minutes must be entered as 8:15a or 8:15p

  11. Enter time in and out daily

  12. Inserting Lines • Notice that there are two lines for each day. If more entries are needed extra lines can be added by clicking the small check box to the far right of the last entry for the day you are completing. The system will add another line for time in and out for the day. The day and date will appear after you submit the entry.

  13. TIPS • Click on the SUBMIT button each time you enter your time in and out. • Time may be entered on a daily basis or entered all in one session prior to the end of the pay period. • Pay periods are semi-monthly running the 1st through the 15th an the 16th through the end of the month.

  15. Electronic Signature • After entering all of the time for the pay period, you must click the box to electronically sign the card. • Signing the card signifies that you are finished entering time for the entire pay period. You will NOT be able to access the card again after you have electronically signed it.

  16. Confirmation screen Click OK

  17. Confirmation Screen • The confirmation screen displays the total number of the hours entered through the current session. • You can verify that all of your hours submitted were correct.

  18. Click on Time History Link to view past time cards

  19. Time History • Time submitted for prior pay periods is stored. • Access prior pay periods through the time history link.

  20. Choose year from drop down menu Click Submit

  21. Click box to select card to view

  22. Click Submit

  23. Choose another record from drop down menu
