  2. Efri öndunarfæri • Eyru (Miðeyra, auditory tube) • Nefhol • Sinusar • Munnur • Kok • Barki

  3. Eyru • Miðeyra • Holrými inn af hljóðhimnunni. • Liggur í pars petrosus af os temporale. • Tengist mastoid cellum gegnum mastoid antrum. • Miðeyrað inniheldur • Hamar, steðji, ísstað. • M. Stapedius og M. Tensor tympani. • N. Chordae tympani (VII) • Plexus tympanicus.

  4. Eyru • Auditory tube • Tengir miðeyra við nefkok. • Hlutverk: Að jafna þrýsting milli andrúmsofts og miðeyra. • Er gerð úr beini og brjóski. • Brjóskhlutinn liggur saman og sjá vöðvarnir M. Levator veli palatini og M. Tensor veli palatini. (geispa og kyngja)

  5. Nefhol • Opnast anteriort um nares og inn í nasopharynx um choanae. • Klædd slímhúð að undanskildu vestibulum nasi. • Hlutverk: M.a. að hita og rakametta loft, finna lykt, öndun, rykhreinsun o.fl. • Þrjár neföður eru á lateral vegg nefholsins.

  6. Sinusar • Eru fjórir talsins • Sinus Frontalis. • Sinus Maxillaris. • Sinus Sphenoidalis. • Sinus Ethmoidalis. • Anterior • Medial • Posterior • Eru framhald slímhúðar nefs.

  7. Munnur • Skiptist í oral vestibule og oral cavity proper. • Hlutverk: Að taka við fæðu og mylja hana. • Kirtlar: • Sublingual glands. • Submandibular glands. • Parotis glands.

  8. Pharynx • Skiptist í: • Nasopharynx.(nær niður að mjúka góm) • Pharyngeal tonsils • Oropharynx.(frá mjúka góm að efri brún epiglottis) • Palatine tonsils • Hypopharynx. (Efri brún epiglottis að neðri brún cartilago cricoidea) • Pharyngeal tonsils og Palatine tonsils mynda saman Waldeyer´s ring.

  9. Barki • Liggur frá C3-C6 • Tengir saman pharynx og trachea. • Hlutverk hans er að mynda hljóð og vernda trachea fyrir ásvelgingu.
