  2. ISO 9001 Quality Policy Dryvit is committed to supplying quality product and services to our customers in a manner that creates value greater than offered by our competitors. The people who buy and use our products have a right to expect that the products and associated services will perform and be delivered as we say they will and that we will do this on a consistent basis

  3. ISO 9001 Quality Policy It is every Dryvit employees’ responsibility to ensure our standards for our products and services are achieved and maintained. Continuous improvements to the quality aspects of our business and adherence to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards are an ongoing process. The success of Dryvit’s quality program will be measured by setting and reviewing specific objectives for safety, quality, service and cost.

How does Dryvit control quality? • Formulations developed & approved by R&D • Electronically available and downloaded to each plant (last revision only) • MO / batch card is printed and followed by production operators • Batch inspection results approved by QC • Adjustments approved by QC manager • Within product specification only • A wet retain - for each production batch - is kept for 2 years • Dry color samples kept up to 5 yrs

Approved Raw Materials (RM) • Only R&D qualified materials are specified in our formulas (MO’s) • 3E Online /MSDS Generator • Each raw material has it’s own test requirement: • Certificate of analysis from supplier and/or Physical Property Test . • Must pass incoming raw material inspection. • Raw materials that fail incoming inspection, are rejected, quarantined and returned to our supplier.

  10. Blender Operator Manufacturing Order (MO) = step by step instructions. Blender operator is trained to verify that batch is produced according to proper instructions.

  11. Quality Control: Testing of all Production Batches • Viscosity • Consistency for application • pH • In-can stability / shelf Life • Weight per Gallon / Density • Consistency / workability • Tint Strength / Color Testing • Color consistency

  12. Fill-Weight Control Pails and Bags are filled by weight not volume. Each product has a specific fill weight. Example: Finish Tint bases are tightly controlled to 68.2 lbs with a tolerance of +/- 1% Consistent weights are critical to our tint program

  16. Daily Orders • 10,041 Customer Orders were received and processed by the four US plants. • This averages out to 40 individual orders per day. • Each Customer Order ranges from 1 pail to a FTL: • Average = 140 pails and/or bags (3-5 pallets). • Average Lead Time is 2.4 days.

  17. Special Colors In FY 12 we processed 4820 Special Color requests (with an equal amount of physical samples prepared and shipped) This averages out to 5 requests per day per plant. Average turnaround time was 1.3 days.
