  1. God Is One Deuteronomy 6:4 4"Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, The LORD is one!(NASB) • One • Communicating Yahweh is the only God • Communicating God is whole, complete, not separate, or two. What you see is what you get.

  2. Jesus' Final Prayer John 17:20-21 20"I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me because of their testimony. 21My prayer for all of them is that they will be one, just as you and I are one, Father--that just as you are in me and I am in you, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you sent me. (NLV) • They Will Be One • Corporate: Jesus desired for his followers to be united and functioning as one! • Individual: Jesus desired for his followers to be whole, complete………..one!

  3. Romans 1:29Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 2nd Corinthians 12:20For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder

  4. Gossip! • Means any useless talk • It is an onomatopoeia • Psithuristas

  5. Ephesians 4:25-27 So put away all falsehood and “tell your neighbor the truth” because we belong to each other. And “don’t sin by letting anger gain control over you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a mighty foothold to the Devil.

  6. Be Truthful and Confront

  7. Ephesians 4:28-30 28If you are a thief, stop stealing. Begin using your hands for honest work, and then give generously to others in need. 29Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.     30And do not bring sorrow to God's Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he is the one who has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.

  8. Build Up & Use Words For Good

  9. Ephesians 4:31-32 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of malicious behavior. 32Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

  10. Forgive! "Let It Go"

  11. Vow To Be One • I will not speak words about people that are harmful or pointless. • I will give people the benefit of the doubt. • I will speak the truth in love no matter how scary it may be. • I will not listen to stories about people unless I’m willing to talk to the person and help. • I will allow people to speak into my life, no matter how hard, embarrassing, or difficult the issue may be. • I will make every effort to forgive people and let it go!
