  18. Leeds History • The name of city comes from the word Leodis. Leodis was a name of a Celtic kingdom. • Leeds was mentioned for the first time in books in 1086.

  19. Leeds Castle • Leeds Castle is very old. It was built in 1119. • Mrs. Baillie was the last holder of the castle. She had zebras, horses, dogs, birds, a cinema and a  swimming pool.
