Explore the allure of breaking rules and the struggle to conform in a world of conflicting expectations and restrictions. From childhood desires to dietary temptations, discover the psychology behind our attraction to the forbidden. Delve into the complexities of following diet rules and the diverse logos associated with popular programs, reflecting on the futility of strict regimes. Uncover the dynamics of sinning when forbidden, and the inherent tension between restraint and desire in human behavior. Rosanne French's whimsical Photo Album adds a touch of humor to contemplating these themes.

Michael Blackwood 7.6.14 • - the idea of so many rules that no one could possible adhere to them all • - no matter how hard we try, we simply can't follow every single rule - i.e. we're/it's hopeless • - "I never thought about sinning until I was told not to sin" • --- with this I see kids (remembering my own childhood)....I never wanted something until I was told I couldn't have it. THEN I really wanted it. • - dieting • ---- we try so hard NOT to eat this/that but in the end most people just can't do it - it's unrealistic • ---- logos of the various diet programs (nutrisystem, atkins, jenny craig, the zone, the south beach diet, slim fast, etc.) You could possibly make a collage of all of these logs, but I'd request you don't include Weight Watchers. Have a different slide with only the Weight Watchers logo because I highlight that program as an alternative to the others. Or you could just play slides with each of the logos and have the Weight Watchers at the end, being the last logo. Photo Album by Rosanne French
