  1. Preparing For Easter Daily Mass during Lent 8:25amin theOratory

  2. Preparing for Easter • Lent is often known as a time for ‘giving up’ something that we find difficult to stop. • It is also about reflection, prayer and acts of charity. • A great opportunity for this is offered to us through attending Morning Mass "If angels could be jealous of men, they would be so for one reason: Holy Communion." - St. Maximilian Kolbe

  3. Why go to Mass? • Before his capture and death upon the Cross Jesus asked “Could you not watch one hour with me” to Peter in the garden of Gethsemene. • We are not even being asked for an hour of our time but 20 minutes to give thanks for the many blessings we receive and to pray for those in need of God’s help • Lent is a particularly good time to attend Mass during the week. It allows us to reflect on our own struggles and on what is truly important in life.

  4. Morning Mass • We are extremely lucky to have Mass celebrated everyday during Lent • Mass takes place in the Oratory starting at 8.25am. • Your Pastoral teacher will have a specific day they will attend, you can help support them by volunteering and giving of your time by attending Mass once a week during Lent. “It would be easier for the world to survive without the sun than to do without Holy Mass.” St. Pio of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio)
