Grandfather. He reads the story “The Princess Bride.” He is reading to his grandson. He is the narrator of the story. He is a kind man. “When I was your age, television was called books.” “Isn’t that a wonderful beginning?”. Grandson. He is sick. His Grandfather is reading him a story.

  1. Grandfather He reads the story “The Princess Bride.” He is reading to his grandson. He is the narrator of the story. He is a kind man. “When I was your age, television was called books.” “Isn’t that a wonderful beginning?”

  2. Grandson He is sick. His Grandfather is reading him a story. He doesn’t like the book in the beginning. He doesn’t like the kissing. “Is this a kissing book? “Murdered by pirates is good......”

  3. Buttercup She likes Westley. She was going to be the princess. She would rather kill herself than marry six fingers. She marries Westley. “Farmboy polish my horses saddle, I want to see my face to shining in it by morning.” “Move? You’re alive. If you want I can fly.

  4. Westley. Westley starts out working for Buttercup as a farmboy. He leaves Buttercup and becomes a pirate on accident. He comes back, gets Buttercup from count Rugen, but he gets captured. And dies. He is brought back to life by Miracle Max, saves Buttercup once again and they get married. “It’s possible. I kill a lot of people, who was this lover of yours? Another prince like this one, ugly, rich, and shabby.” “Death cannot stop true love, all it can do is delay it for a while.

  5. Inigo His dad was killed by a man with six fingers. His goal in life is to kill the guy who killed his dad. He meets up with Westley when Westley beats him in a sword fight. Inigo along with Fizzick and Westley kill count Rugen. “Do you have six fingers? Prepare to die.” “You know, it is very strange,I have been in the revenge business so long, know that it is over I don’t know what to do with the rest of my life.”

  6. Fezzick He is a giant who wouldn’t willingly hurt a flea. He loves to rhyme, and drives Vizzini crazy with it. He carries Westley when Westley died. He gets horses for them all to escape the castle. “No tricks, no weapons, skill against skill alone.” “I just want you to fell your doing well. I hate for people to die embarrassed.”

  7. Vizzini He is the leader of a gang of robbers, who figgers that if they kidnapped Buttercup they can get a ransom. He sends Inigo to fight Westley to stop him. Then he sends fizzick. They both fail, so he threatens to kill Buttercup. He challenges westley to a test of wits, which he loses. So he dies. “Inconceivable.” “no more rhymes now, I mean it.”

  8. Count Rugen He killed Inigo’s father a couple of years earlier. He has six fingers on his hand. He kills Westley. Inigo kills him for killing his father. “You must be that little Spanish brat I taught a lesson to all those years ago. It’s simply incredible.” “Good heavens, are you still trying to win? You got an over developed sense of vengeance. Its going to get you in trouble some day.”

  9. Miracle Max He is a wizard. He is kind of crazy. He saves Westley from being dead. He doesn’t know if the pill he gave Westley will work or not. “Whoo-hooo-hoo, look who knows so much. It happens that your friend is mostly dead.” “You are the brute squad!”

  10. Anne Frank • She was born June twelfth nineteen twenty nine. • She had to hide from the Nazi’s in the Secret Annex • She kept a diary which is now famous. • She went to a Nazi concentration camp where she died before Dday. “I believe all people are good at heart.” “I can shake off everything if I write.”

  11. Miep • She worked for Mr. Franks business. • Miep is Dutch and about twenty two. • She smuggled food and other neccessities too the Franks. • She tries to persuade Mr. Frank not to leave the country after the war. “You can’t say we were suffering.” “Well it has to come sometime , you know.”

  12. Mr. Frank • He owned a business Importing spices and herbs in Amsterdam. • He hid in the secret annex with the rest of his family • He is separated from his family in the concentration camps. • He decides to leave Amsterdam. “Anne, you got an excellent in your history today....and very good in Latin.” “It might be better for us to go into Peter’s room.”

  13. Mr. Van Daan He was hiding with the Franks. His wife spoiled him. He has a son named Peter. He is married to Mrs. VanDaan. “Am I smoking? Do you see me smoking?” “Not me. I can’t do anything with him. He won’t listen to me. You go ahead.....if you want.”

  14. Mrs. Van Daan She is married to Mr. Van Daan. Her son is named Peter. She likes her fur coat. She and Anne argue a lot. “Don’t tell me you’ve used up all those cigarettes.” “Will you shut up?”

  15. Peter He is the son of the Van Daans. He has a cat. He is older than Anne. He doesn’t listen to his parents. “Mouschi” “He’s a tom. He doesn’t like strangers.”

  16. Margot She has a sister named Anne. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank. She is quiet. She dies in a concentration camp. “Come in, mother.” “Of course you’re not. You’ve got nice eyes.....and a lot of animation, and....”

  17. Mr. Dussel He came in late to the annex. He has half of Anne and Margot’s room. He is not married. He is a dentist. “thank you so much.” “Will you please let me in my room!”

  18. Charlie He is mentally challenged. He is being used as an experiment. He races against a mouse. He eventually becomes smart and then regresses. “So I got scaird when Dr. Nemur and Dr Strauss argud about it.” “Their going to use me!”

  19. Christy Ross She is the wife of Ben Ross She doesn’t like the wave movement. She tells her husband that it needs to end. “Just turn it off!” “Well, let them be confused!”

  20. Laurie Sanders A senior in high school. She is the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper. She is a student in Mr. Ross’s history class. She doesn’t like the wave movement. “David and I have to study.” “I think you and everyone else are taking this whole Wave thing a bit too seriously.”

  21. Robert Billings He is a senior in high school. He is considered an outcast. He really likes the wave movement. He finds acceptance through the wave movement. “The whole idea of The Wave is that the people in it have to support it. If we’re really a community, we all have to agree.” “I want to be your bodyguard, Mr. Ross!”

  22. Abraham Lincoln He was president during the Civil War. He won reelection in 1864. He was assassinated on April 14, 1865 by John Wilkes Booth. “I long ago made up my mind that if anyone wants to kill me, he will do it....” “We must both be more cheerful in the future...”

  23. Harriet Tubman She was called “Moses.” She led slaves to freedom. She was considered a conductor on the Underground Railroad. She was friends with Frederick Douglas. “A friend with friends.” “Go down, Moses, ‘way down to Egypt land”

  24. David Collins He is a senior in high school. He is the boyfriend of Laurie Sanders. He is the running back on the football team. He hopes the wave will unify the football team. “I’m telling you Eric, this is just what the team needs.” “Tonight I almost hurt Laurie because of the Wave.”

  25. Ben Ross He is a high school history teacher. He is married to Christy Ross He started “The Wave” movement in his history class. “The Nazis might have been a minority, but they were a highly organized, armed, and dangerous minority.” “You have to remember that the rest of the German population was unorganized, unarmed, and frightened.”
