  1. Academic Calendar The learning process of a semester is composed of textbooks and courses for 6months. Each course has clear objectives and students should do homework for each class, and take a midterm and a term test to go up to the next level. Academic Calendar A semester is 6-month course, and level-up and new classes will be on June and December every year. Regular telephone counseling with parents will be done after the midterm and the term test. Holidays & Summer Vacation The official summer vacation is at the first week of August and 5days. All bank holidays and weekends has no classes. System for Academic Calendar The system for elementary school students comes up with academic achievement and educational direction via 6-month courses. The one for middle school students is also composed of a 6-month course and helps them prepare for NEAT/TEPS and school tests. *NEAT: National English Ability Test *TEPS: Test of English Proficiency developed by Seoul National University

  3. Proficiency Levels NEAT Grade 2. English proficiency levels for high school curriculum with four areas; Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing. TEPS instead of NEAT will be adopted from December. Great (Middle) G3 G2 NEAT Grade 3. English proficiency levels for middle school curriculum with four areas; Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing.TEPS instead of NEAT will be adopted from December. G1 *NEAT: National English Ability Test Advanced Level. Expand logical expressiveness and thinking skills in English, Debate by group. Smart (Elemen.) S6 Intermediate Level. Setting academic goal and taking a leap of English language skills. Read fiction and nonfiction, Make presentation by group, Start summary writing and essay writing. S5 G5-G6 S4 Beginner & Low Intermediate Level. acquiring English speaking abilities of basic daily life. Start writing and extensive reading, Answering full sentences, Practice summarizing contents of topics and speaking, Speaking class by topics. S3 G4 Pre-Beginner Level. Complete phonics, Have fun for learning English, Start to be familiar with English, Acquire habit of listening & reading English, Speaking class by topics. S1 S2 S8 S7

  5. Courses for Elemen. Pre Beginner (S1-S2) Pre Beginner (S1-S2) Red: Foreign Teacher’s Classes Intermediate (S4-S6) Beginner (S3) Advanced (S8) Advanced (S7) Either Mon/Wed/Fri or Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur can be chosen. 6 classes a week and 45min. for each class. The order of subjects can be changed.

Courses for Middle Intermediate-Advanced (G3-G6) Beginner (G1-G2) Beginner (G1-G2) Intermediate-Advanced (G3-G6) Red: Foreign Teacher’s Classes Either Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thur can be chosen. 6 classes a week and 45min. for each class. The order of subjects can be changed. Two classes for adult learners (Students’ parents) at 6pm – 7pm on Tue and Thur.
