Students who behave appropriately will be periodically rewarded with starbucks.

  25. Some tips for a successful year include:  AR - Make sure she is reading and taking AR test. Wordly Wise- Part E is a grade. Complete it accurately every two weeks. Projects - There are many projects in 5th grade, especially Science/SS. Turn in projects ON TIME and adhere to the rubrics to be successful.  Centers - keep up with center/rotation materials in both science/ss and reading. These assignments can hurt a student if they are not working accurately and keeping up with their materials.  Students can come in at 8:00 and during recess if they are behind. Daily Skill Review – There is a daily skill review quiz each week in math, just like last year. Study this each night and do homework to help your math grade tremendously!  Remember there is a difference in reading to finish and reading to learn. Focus!
