What should we be training our children? • In reference to themselves: • Spiritual health is more important than physical appearance (1 Pet. 3:3-4, 1 Tim. 2:9-10) • Money is not everything (1 Tim. 5:8, 1 Tim. 6:6-11, Mt. 16:26) • In reference to other people: • Do not gossip about others (1 Tim. 3:11, Titus 2:3) • How to be a servant to others (Jn. 13:5-17) • In reference to God: • Prioritize Bible study (2 Tim. 2:15) • Prioritize Worship (Heb. 10:25, Ps. 122:1)
