  1. Rights and freedoms The common people of the incas were all put into groups of 10-20 people they became like family and had to work together .They were all given a specific job to do. Each unit was called ayllu. The common people were not aloud certain things in there house like luxury items in fact they were only aloud things that they needed for work .They were not allowed to travel on the roads nor have there own business. life was not all work. A small amount of time was put aside for bathing and eating. They had lots of religious holidays. But they could not be idle. That was the law. Either they were celebrating a state approved holiday, working in the fields, or sleeping.

  2. If the law was broken then that person must die. Because of this harsh punishment the law was broken very rarely Because of the allyus’ the groups learnt to work together and get the job done quicker if the government had not decided on developing these groups then the Incas wouldn't have established there infrastructure as fast as they did. Because the common people of the Inca group were not allowed to have luxury items in there homes and only work items they were more focused on work then anything else. If the Incas started there own business (which was against the law)then they would be able to get more money and become so rich they didn't even have to work therefore if the government didn't pass this law then they’d have no or very fewer people working for them and also not much money.

  3. Children children The children of the Incas were treated harshly when they missed behaved they were punished At the age of 10 some of the most beautiful girls are taken from their families and put into a group called Aqllawasi and taught to farm and weave. When at the age of 14 the girls are taken to a selection of important male Incas and are chosen to be there wife the rest of the girls are taught by there mum to farm and weasve and are to marry a farming boy. Boys learned farming, fishing and other trades. Noble boys had tutors called Amataus who trained them to rule. When they reached the age of 14 boys were given a loincloth which symbolised the fact that they were now young men

  4. In the lowlands the staple food was maize. In the highlands it was potatoes. Incas also ate peppers, tomatoes and avocadoes. They also ate peanuts and a grain called quinoa. Llamas and alpacas were kept for wool and for carrying loads but they sometimes provided meat. Incas also ate guinea pigs. They also fished and ate birds. However for most Incas meat was a luxury Poor people ate off dishes placed on the ground. Inca nobles ate off a cloth on the ground. There were no tables Food

  5. The Incas also ate popcorn they never were scarce on food because of some of the inventions they made like freeze drying potatoes and meat they would leave it in there big storage house they kept near the important incas and then leave the food out in the sun for a day this now meant that the potato could last for days without going off and could quite possibly last a year and they called the potato chuno. They worshiped the god of the sun because the incas believed he gave them heat necessary for food If the incas didn't worship the god of the sun there is a chance he might of given them bad weather and they wouldn't have much food which could lead to death. If the incas didn't invent freeze drying then there potatoes wouldn't last long and they'd be constantly looking for more food If the incas used the llamas for meat then they would have nothing to carry them around and be stuck in the same spot or forced to walk
