  2. Setting & Characters • Setting At the Christmas Eve family members gather together, and just have a daily conversation. • Characters We use role play to represent our recording. Four of us are family members. Roger and Sanny are playing the role of father and mother; Peggy and Flora are the children.

  3. Section I – Summary • At the beginning Flora ask her mom for decorate the Christmas tree together, and her mother said if she can answer the question, they will decorate the Christmas tree right away.

  4. During the decoration they will talk about the symbolization of the candy cane, and also the meaning of the light and the star on the Christmas tree. • At last, they will talk about the origin of Santa Claus and the tradition of hanging the Christmas stocking.

  6. SectionⅡ – Summary • This section begins with a phone call. Their uncle call from Australia to say marry Christmas to them. And then they start to have a conversation about the celebration of Christmas in different country. They will talk about Australia, Hong Kong and Japan.
