  3. 4WD Vehicle • Panel of insurers used - why? • Protection from changes in direction of individual insurers • Able to insure broader range of vehicles ie highly modified • Stability

  4. 4WD Vehicle • Modified vs Accessorised - the difference? • Accessories are added to a vehicle - may increase the overall value • Modifications replace existing components and do not increase value • Most insurers limit accessories to 10% • We allow up to 50% accessories • Most insurers will not touch modifications • We allow most legal modifications

  5. 4WD Vehicle • Agreed value vs Market value • Market value changes daily, agreed is fixed • All accessories and modifications should be noted on both policy types • Noting accessories on a market value policy does not increase the market value, it simply notes them in case of theft etc. • Agreed value usually costs more as you are insuring for a higher figure • Market value is OK with few accessories

  6. 4WD Vehicle • Why use our facility? • We have no geographic restrictions, you are covered throughout Australia – includes travelling on beaches, barges etc. • We have no usage restrictions except for competition. ie you can use the vehicle for the purpose you bought it!

Camping Equipment • Complete cover for those travelling the bush • Covers gear at campsite, in tents and open air ie generators, fridges, swags • Gear in or on vehicle must be secured • Fire, perils, and theft • Not intended for jewellery, electronics goods etc where accidental damage or loss cover is needed via home contents • Only policy we know of covering camping goods in open air
