  2. Ayurmana Services • Ayurvedic medicine (“Ayurveda” for short) is one of the world’s oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India. It’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body

  3. DhanyaKizhi • Dhanyakizhi is a kind of therapeutic sweating. In this Ayurvedic treatment, body is fomented with linen bundles containing herbs like cereals, black gram, horse gram, cotton seed etc, in semi-powdered form.

  4. Gala Vasthi • A circular container made out of black gram dough is fixed on the cervical area (back of neck). Then, Lukewarm medicated oil is slowly poured into it. Throughout the procedure, the oil in the container is kept warm.

  5. ElaKizhi • Cotton cloth boluses are made with minced herbal leaves, coconut gratings and lemon warmed in medicated oil. These bundles are then steamed and the fomentation is patted rhythmically all over the body for sudation.

  6. Nasyam • Nasyam is one of the main procedures of Panchakarma therapy. In this treatment, therapeutic administration of medicated oil is poured through nostrils. The treatment is advised either in the morning on an empty stomach or in the evening.

  7. NjavaraKizhi • ShashtikaPindaSwedam or NjavaraKizhi is done using a specific type of rice known for its medicinal and nourishment value. The rice is prepared cooking in milk along with a special herbal decoction. Then the whole body is fomented with linen boluses (Kizhis) filled with medicated rice.

  8. ShiroVasti • Cotton cloth boluses are made with minced herbal leaves, coconut gratings and lemon warmed in medicated oil. These bundles are then steamed and the fomentation is patted rhythmically all over the body for sudation.

  9. ThakraDhara • Medicated butter milk is streamed continuously on the forehead in between the temples.

  10. Shirodhara • In this treatment, medicated oil is streamed continuously on the forehead in between the temples.
