  2. Characters • Arran- • Arran is the leader of the Waitrose kids. He is smart and a good leader. He likes Maxie and she likes him but they do not really know they like each other. He got bit by a Grown-Up and died from a arrow shot. Maxie- Maxie is the second in command and is smart but is a peacetime leader, not a wartime leader. She is very sad when Arran dies but she gets it together and be comes a great leader!

  3. Characters Achilleus- He is the best fighter and loves action and not peace. He also thinks for himself. Sam- There are three Sam’s so they call him small Sam because he is the smallest Sam of the three Sam’s. He is Captured by the Grown-Ups but escapes and has to go to Buckingham Palace by himself!

  4. Characters • Josh- • Josh is afraid of nothing. He did end up dying from rabid monkeys. Ella- Ella is Small Sam’s sister. Blue- Blue is the leader of the Morrisons crew and is very tough but before he was a bookworm and kinda fat! Whitney- Blue’s second in command and smart and a lot like Maxie.

  5. Characters • David- • David is the leader of the Buckingham Palace group. He is very smart but wants to rule all of London. Jester- Jester is the one who tells the Waitrose crew about Buckingham Palace. He is on David’s side and that is bad. He is also not very trustworthy.

  6. Characters • Sophie- • Kills Arran on accident. She tries to be friends with Maxie but she is mean to her. Bernie and Ben- They are engineers and make the life at Waitrose easier because of their inventions. They are also Emo’s.

  7. Setting Most of the beginning is on the streets and in Waitrose. Next it is in Arsenal stadium with Sam. Then it is on the streets on the way to Buckingham Palace. The underground tubes are the next setting with Sam again. Next, in Nick’s “house”. Buckingham palace of coarse.

  9. Weapons • Arran uses a club and after he died Maxie used it in his honor. Achilleus uses a spear and is very skilled with it. Sophie has a bow and arrow. Freak has a ax his best mate Deke, uses a sledgehammer.
