The NWAETC offers a comprehensive HIV/AIDS education and training program coordinated by Joe Cantil. Participants are encouraged to complete the Participant Information Form (PIF) to aid in the evaluation process. Since 2008, Alaska has reported a total of 1,261 HIV/AIDS cases, with significant insights into demographics and exposure categories. The program also emphasizes resource sharing through the AETC National Resource Center to promote collaboration and awareness of HIV/AIDS education at local and national levels.
