February 5 - CLOs • CLOs – Students will: • Complete a written reading comprehension quiz to demonstrate their understanding of chapter 24 • Identify the causes and effects of the gilded age to the progressive era using a graphic organizer • Review FRQs from the previous exam to determine next steps to continue to grow and improve their writing. Then, students will complete a related prompt in writing using various planning tools.

February 12 - CLOs • CLOs – Students Will: • Complete written notes to further understand key differences in how WWI was fought from previous wars through a presentation and discussion. • Watch a short video highlighting propaganda during WWI and make connections to current forms of propaganda verbally as a whole group. • Participate in a simulation that requires them to take on a role or persona in order to understand the motivations/interests of certain countries at the Treaty of Versailles. Requires reading, planning, and execution in a group setting.
