  2. Introduction Far too often we think, “If you want to reach young people you have to have this program, or capture this feel, or go for this look.” However, this is not the secret to reaching the next generation. Rather Passion, Love, Holiness and God are essential

  3. Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.I Corinthians 11:1

  4. Grab Them with Passion Young people need to hear of the mighty deeds of God. More important, they needto hear the message from someone who not only understands it, but has been captured by it.

  5. Young people want to see that our faith actually matters to us. They are looking for: • A faith that is real. • A transfer from life-to-life. • A passion shared. • A real-life application.

  6. Win Them with Love Jesus said it best: “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” Jesus did not say “They will know you are my disciples by how attuned you are to new trends in youth culture.” Or “They will know you are my disciples by the hip atmosphere you create.” Give up on relevance, and try love.

  7. Forget trying to figure out cultural engagement. • Love them unashamedly. • Make it a lot harder.

  8. Hold Them with Holiness We must remember that they will never rise above our spiritual level. The one indispensable requirement for producing Godly, mature Christians is Godly, mature Christians.

  9. Genuineness is essential. • Honesty is the key to credibility. • Holiness must be modeled.

  10. Amaze Them with God We can give them substance instead of style. We can show them a big God to help make sense of their shrinking lives. We can point them to transcendence instead of triviality. We can reach them with something more lasting and more powerful than gimmicks, gadgets, and games. We can reach them with God.

  11. Get them with the Good News about Who God is and what He has done for us. • Trust God that He is enough to win hearts and minds of the next generation

  12. Give them a God Who is holy, independent, and unlike us. • Show them that God is the center of the universe.

  13. GRAB THEM WITH PASSION. WIN THEM WITH LOVE. HOLD THEM WITH HOLINESS. AMAZE THEM WITH GOD.
