The Life and Legacy of Albert Einstein: Genius of Relativity

Albert Einstein, born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Württemberg, lived a remarkable life dedicated to science. He obtained his doctorate in 1905 and became a professor by 1909. Notable for his theory of relativity and the famous equation E=mc², Einstein won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921. His contributions also laid the groundwork for atomic theory. Despite struggling with math in his youth, he became one of history's greatest minds, proving his theories through groundbreaking research such as the Schwarzschild solution. Einstein passed away on April 18, 1955, in Princeton, New Jersey.

  1. E=MC2 Albert Einstein Logan 2007 The general theory or relativity

  2. Birth/Death Information He was born March 14,1879 at Ulm, Württemberg and died April 18 1955 at Princeton, New Jersey. The year Madison Square Gardens opened Einstein was born.

  3. Facts about life Einstein flunked math when he was a kid. He entered the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich, Germany. In 1905 he obtained his doctor's degree. He became a professor in 1909. He traveled all over the place to give speeches, but stayed New Jersey once he came to the U.S.A and settled down. He won the Nobel prize in 1921 for mathematics

  4. What are they known for? Einstein’s theory of relativity and E=MC2 He also developed the Idea of the atomic bomb. He proved that the general theory of relativity is correct because of Schwarzschild solution (for the space-time surrounding a spherically symmetric uncharged and non-rotating massive object).
