(Matt 5: 4 KJV) • In the last chapter, because of Adam’s breaking of covenant with God, humanity suffers from the self-inflicted wound of sin and is left in utter, hellish isolation. • God, however, in Genesis immediately begins to work towards the restoration of relationship, healing the wound. • We continue in our creativity to be the channels of grace that heals the wounded and brings others into covenant relationship.
