In this lesson, we explore the physical properties of ionic compounds as part of our Aim 4.5 objective. To kick off, we will have a 15-minute quiz based on our reference tables. Following the quiz, students will read for 10 minutes, and then watch a video about the Chauvet Caves, delving into the formation of stalactites and stalagmites and the methods scientists use to date the cave paintings. Additionally, we will watch an interview with director Werner Herzog. Homework includes completing test corrections as noted in the agenda.
