  1. Hampshire TEENAGE PROJECT Activities Booklet – May Edition May promises to be a very busy month for Hampshire Teenage Project! We have a diverse range of activities scheduled for this month including our big trip to the London Science Museum. Other new activities include our first sports session (indoor tennis) as well as a circus event! This month we have produced a booklet that compliments the arty, sporty, sciency & social types which you will uncover once you turn over the page... It will be a hoot, so don’t miss out on our great range of activities. We look forward as ever to receiving your reply slips.

  2. PALS Art Club! Hampshire Teenage Project will be joining forces with PALS this weekend for arts & crafts activities as part of their regular art club. What will you make this weekend? Perhaps there’s a birthday coming up and you need a whacky birthday card made? Whatever the occasion or even if you just like to use your imagination and show your wild, creative and artistic side, this weekend is the time to do it. When: Sunday 4th May Times: 1pm – 3pm Where: Frank Sorrell Centre , EastneyCost: £3.50 Indoor Tennis! Our first ever sport session will be tennis, delivered by a qualified tennis coach with years of experience. We will be heading to the indoor tennis courts at Priory School in Portsmouth for a session which will incorporate learning the skills and basics of tennis, how to serve with a few fun games in between. We might even have a future Tim Henman on our hands? When: Saturday 17th May Times: 2-4pm Where: Priory School Portsmouth, Tennis court Cost: £5.00 Circus! This weekend we are heading over to Gosport for the ‘Circus Starr Spring Tour’ with lots of exciting things to see. Come and join us in the event and take in the magic of the circus acts that will follow. If you are planning on attending the London Science Museum on the following day, be sure to get lots of rest and relaxation, as this weekend you’ll need it! When: Saturday 24th May Times: 2pm – 5:15pm Where: Stokes Bay football pitches, Stokes Bay Road, Gosport, PO12 2BL Cost: FREE London Science Museum! Hampshire Teenage Project is heading to the capital for a tour of the London Science Museum. There is lots to see and do in the London Science Museum from beautiful objects, art in surprising places to exploring the universe from the ‘Big Bang’ theory to the farthest reaches of space. There will be a worksheet provided on the day for our young people to complete, so it promises to be both a busy but exciting day. Please make sure to bring a packed lunch and a few drinks as well as it will be a long and tiring day, including all the walking around and the journey to and from. Ideally bring 2 lunches or plenty of snacks, to keep you going until the evening. When: Sunday 25th May Times: 7:30am – 8pm Where: Meeting points include: Redwood School, Morrisons in Horndean or Bursledon (details will follow once I have received your reply slip). Cost: £18.00 per person. Cinema! Hampshire Teenage Project will be heading to the Odeon cinema in Port Solent for a movie. Current information is still limited for the cinema listings, however I will be sending round information by close of play with a few choices for our young people and a deadline to choose. The majority choice vote will again determine which movie we will be watching as a group. I will update everyone nearer the time once the website displays more details. When: Saturday 31st May Times: TBC Where: Odeon Cinema, Port Solent Cost: £7.50

Please reply asap, particularly for the first activity where time is restricted and planning is required for the activity, staff members and to allow us to secure spaces for young people. When the reply slip has been received, I will notify you by email or by phone (your preferred contact method) as confirmation of your booking for the activity.
