  2. What eagles look like. Sometimes eagles seem to wear a scowl and itlooks likes it is mad, but it is not. Eagles can not change their expressions. This animal is black, and brown often with white trim.

  3. All about their babies The babies can fly when it is a week old. The babies are called eaglets. Sometimes the bald eagles can have three or more babies at a time.

  4. Where eagles live All bald eagles live in North America.

  5. What eagles eat Eagles love to eat fish , ducks, birds and squirrels. Eagles catch their food by swooping down .

  6. The predator of a eagle The predator of a bald eagle is a farmer and a hunter.

  7. How a eagle protects it self This animal protects it self by a grayish covering of down.

  8. How long a bald eagle can live Some wild eagles can live up to 20 years or longer. Eagles that live in the zoo can reach the age 40.

  9. Why we like bald eagles. We like bald eagles because the can fly up to 101 miles. Also we like them because they are the most powerful bird of prey.
