  2. ​The examination season is in full swing and students have already started preparing for their board examinations. Though most of the students plan to go for higher studies in India or overseas, others are eager to work after their examinations. Government jobs come with job security, higher salaries and various incentives – which make them an attractive option. The basic eligibility requirement is to pass one’s 12th board examinations, which help such students scale better heights in the career.   3. Army ​One can apply in the army after high school, provided they have scored a minimum of 50% in the board examinations. Various positions such as soldier (technical), nursing assistant, soldier (clerk) are open, for which you need to appear for a written and physical examination.   4. ​Police Constable ​Anyone between the age of 18-30 years can apply for the position of a Police Constable, after which they have to pass a Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written test and an Interview.
