  1. KNOW HAPPINESS Part 2PHILIPPIANS 4:4-7

  2. How would you describe happiness? Glad Cheerful Joyful Joyous Paul uses the word rejoice. Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! I Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always. God wants His people to be happy. Can we find true happiness? True happiness is found only in righteous living. Knowing certain things can bring us great happiness.

  3. Know God Everyone should have a personal relationship with God and Christ. Know His existence Know about Him Know what He does and can do for us. Know His commands. Psalms 144:15 Happy are the people whose God is the Lord! Know You Are Created In The Image Of God What happiness it brings to know that God loved us so much He made us in His image.

  4. Know The Truth To know the truth is to know Christ and His salvation. Satan encourages ignorance. We are responsible for our own salvation. Know The Peace Of God A calm within It is an inner peace. The peace of mind knowing you are saved. It is knowing God is your God and come what may, He will be there to help you along the way.

  5. Know Hope Romans 12:12 Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Our hope is in Christ. Hebrews 6:18-20 That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

  6. Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ We are warned not to lose this hope. Colossians 1:23 If indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, Hebrews 10:23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Know God Know hope No God No hope

  7. Know The Joy Of Service True joy and happiness does not come from serving yourself, but others. Matthew 20:25-28 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.'' John 13:12-15So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.”

  8. "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.” God has always expected it to be this way. Matthew 22:39 And the second is like it: `You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' Paul gives this admonition: Philippians 2:3-4 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Jesus first Others second Yourself last Follow this rule and you will have great joy and happiness.

  9. Know The Assurance Of Salvation No other thought can bring greater happiness than to know that we will spend eternity with God in heaven. Can we really know we are save? God has promised it to us. I John 2:25 And this is the promise that He has promised us eternal life. I John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

II Peter 1:5-11But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
