State-of-the-Art Regional Offices: A Milestone at EFI Annual Conference 2010

At the EFI Annual Conference on September 15, 2010, it was announced that five Regional Offices are now operational: EFIMED (since 2007), EFIATLANTIC (since 2009), EFICENT-OEF (since 2009), EFICEEC (since 2010), and EFINORD (since 2010). These offices represent a significant expansion of the EFI network, enabling enhanced collaboration across regions. The successful cooperation among units across various projects demonstrates the potential of flexible team dynamics. Upcoming projects and research agendas further emphasize the critical role of these offices in strengthening regional and global forest management.
