  3. 二、新考试题型的特点: 1、取消口语考试; 2、教材内容涉及量增大,达到50%以上。所考内容多为教材中讲授的文学概念和文学作品知识。例如第一大题:多项选择或判断正误占10%,填空题占15%,另也会选用教材中出现的诗歌、戏剧、或小说等。

As the title shows, it is about English, that is , it is the • way you learn English through literature. You can’t find the • headings like stories, novels, poems, dramas, etc. The book • is not designed in this way. • Literature here is treated as a creative use of English, • that is, a variety among other varieties such as English in • daily life, English at leisure, English in current affairs, and • so on • .

ACTIVITY 1 What we mean by ‘literature’ • The following five lectures will focus on the differences between literary language and non-literary language: • Five excerpts related to London are collected, and detailed comparisons are to be made. • We will find that the descriptions of the same object vary with genres. • The purpose of intensive reading and comparison is to make sure the distinctions between literary language and non-literary language.

Literary and non-literary (P.6) • Traditionally, short stories, novels, poems, and plays are considered literature in the sense of imaginative literature. • Actually it is one thing to be able to feel the understand of literature and quite another thing to put down what you feel in exact works.

And it has less enthusiastic tone to appeal to perspective visitors. 2.guidebook: aims to provide information, we may expect to find information similar to what we can find in encyclopaedia. But a guidebook has an added purpose in providing information, which is to attract visitors.
