  3. Diz o Evangelho – cooperarei. The Gospel says – I cooperate.

  4. Clama o Egoísmo – eu tenho e posso. Selfishness claims – I have and I can.

  5. Clama o Evangelho – O Senhor lembrar-se-á de nós com a sua benção. The Gospel claims – The Lord will remember us with His blessing.

  6. Pede o Egoísmo – entende-me. Selfishness asks – understand me.

  7. Pede o Evangelho – deixa-se auxiliar. The Gospel asks – let me help.

  8. Grita o Egoísmo – sou amado. Selfishness shouts – I am loved.

  9. Afirma o Evangelho – amo. The Gospel shouts - I love.

  10. Diz o Egoísmo – nunca mais. Selfishness says – never again.

  11. Diz o Evangelho – servirei ao bem, sem descanso. The Gospel says – I will serve for the good, restlessly.

  12. Assevera o Egoísmo – não suportarei. Selfishness asserts – I will not endure.

  13. Assevera o Evangelho – o Céu dar-me-á resistência. The Gospel asserts – Heaven will give me strength.

  14. Clama o Egoísmo – jamais perdoarei. Selfishness claims – I will never forgive.

  15. Clama o Evangelho – desconheço o mal. The Gospel claims – I do not know the evil.

  16. Diz o Egoísmo – tudo é meu. Selfishness says – everything is mine.

  17. Diz o Evangelho – tudo é nosso. The Gospel says – everything is ours.

  18. O Egoísmo reclama. Selfishness complains.

  19. O Evangelho sacrifica-se. The Gospel sacrifices itself.

  20. O Egoísmo absorve. Selfishness absorbs.

  21. O Evangelho se espalha em doações. The Gospel spreads itself in donations.

  22. O Egoísmo recolhe para si. Selfishness retains to itself.

  23. O Evangelho semeia com amor, a benefício de todos. The Gospel sows with love, for the benefit of all.

  26. O Egoísmo toma posse. Selfishness takes possession.
