  3. Some guidelines for today • Let’s keep things open, but stay on task- MUCH to cover in the training session • If we do not feel that you are prepared, or that you are struggling with some points, we will suggest some additional resources or training prior to signing you off on your SQTR

  4. The 6-Step Workflow: Photos are taken with geotagged information embedded Photos off-loaded to computer for processing Image enhanced to reduce haze and other quality issues Appropriate images selected for processing GPS, heading, date, time & CAP logo watermark Photos sent to “customer” via appropriate delivery means Photos are taken with geotagged information embedded Photos uploaded to computer for processing Photos are taken with geotagged information embedded Photos uploaded to computer for processing Appropriate images selected for processing Image enhanced to reduce haze and other quality issues Appropriate images selected for processing Image enhanced to reduce haze and other quality issues GPS, heading, date, time & CAP logo watermark Photos sent to “customer” via appropriate delivery means GPS, heading, date, time & CAP logo watermark Photos sent to “customer” via appropriate delivery means

  5. Ownership of Images • Photos from a training mission are the property of CAP and require approval for specific use. • Images take for a “customer” (FEMA, local agency, etc) are the property of the customer. Not you, not your squadron, not the CAP. • Images may never be used for any purposes, including training, without written consent.

  6. AF/North Guidelines • All guidelines are found in the Mission Aircrew Reference Text (MART) for Airborne Photography • The MART is a reference– not a training guide • The Airborne Photographer rating and SQTRs will evolve as the standards and our needs evolve!
