Bezel Setting. The Dime AND PENNY. MAKE A Bezel Cup. Measure some Bezel wire around a coin. Mark and Cut. File the cut ends, and then, fit together. Set Solder, flux, then solder. Round on a mandrel, check for fit. Mark & cut back-plate, Set solder.

  3. MAKE A Bezel Cup

  4. Measure some Bezel wire around a coin

  5. Mark and Cut

  6. File the cut ends, and then, fit together

  7. Set Solder, flux, then solder

  8. Round on a mandrel, check for fit.

  9. Mark & cut back-plate, Set solder

  10. Flux, then solder

  11. Cut excess metal off, then file smooth.

  12. Make a ½ round band,………… file or sand a flat spot

  13. Set bezel cup & band in a third hand

  14. Heat from the interior until solder melts

  15. Clean, Sand, & Light Buff. Add paper to cushion and raise

  16. Use burnisher or bezel pusher to bend bezel over the top of the coin or stone.
