  2. CTL Goals for year 2019-2020 • Mentor/Consult other institutes for • Vision and Mission • Outcome Based Education (OBE) best practices • NBA Accreditation process • NAA Accreditation (AAA Audit) • Conduct a workshop for Foreign/National Students for 15 - 30 days

CTL Plan to achieve Goals… • In order to mentor other institutes, there will be collaboration in terms of • Expert lecture by our and their faculties in both the institutes • Research collaboration • Joint funded research proposals • Effectiveness can be measured by the status of accreditation of mentored institute in upcoming years • Conduction of number of workshops for Foreign/National students

Probable obstacles • Mentor/Consult other institutes • Convincing institutes to spare their time and faculties • Getting funding for workshops from other institutes • Other institute faculties’ resistance for Outcome Based Education’s workshop • Workshop for Foreign/National students • Reaching foreign institutes/Universities • Lack of middle person

How obstacles can be overcome • Mentor/Consult other institutes • Rigorous communication with institutes to bombard the importance of the OBE and accreditation process • Workshop for foreign students • Contacting multiple Foreign/Indian universities through their PROs and by the help of other institutes in country

  7. IUCEE Role in achieving goals • Provide the expertise in Outcome Based Education to conduct the workshops • Mediate the process of communication with Foreign universities/Indian IUCEE Consortium colleges

What are your institutional goals for improving Engineering Education in 2019-2020? • Goal 1: Enhancement of Quality* of projects in Design Project Exhibition. • *Quality is defined with respect to its techno standards and social acceptance. • Goal 2: Improvement in the Attainment** of course. • **Attainment is directly proportional to the contribution done by students. Goal 1: Enhancement of Quality of projects in Design Project Exhibition Name of person: Subodh S Ingaleshwar and Team Monthly task schedule: Course is dealt twice in on AY. Possibility of collaboration: MSME Measurement of the effectiveness: Feedback of visitors.

Engineering Exploration in First Year Engineering What are the probable obstacles/ shortcomings /problems that may arise in realizing your goals? - We need guidance from people who are having expertise Project/Problem Based Learning. - More MSME collaborators for Need statements. - Industry support in terms of funding and Technology transfer.

How do you think IUCEE can help in accomplishing your goals? • IUCEE can assist in extending more collaboration of Institutions who are interested in hosting the Engineering Exploration Vertical and PBL Methodology. What are your institutional goals for improving Engineering Education in 2019-2020? • Goal 1: To Transform Engineering campus into ESDM Product Innovation Centers (EPIC) through Industry Partnerships. • Goal 2: To create youth to work in interdisciplinary domains, understand customer needs and solve real problems. • Goal 3: To develop the process of product based learning through-out four years in entrepreneurial eco-system.   16. What is your plan for achieving the goals in the stipulated time? Goal 1: Discussions are on for extending POC to Product Design through electives to develop Ideas/Innovation . Stipulated Time: January, 2020. Goal 2: To develop Idea & POC to working prototype with use of living Labs to give outcome of 15 POCs and 5 prototypes. e.g. Engineering Exploration/IoT/AEV. Stipulated Time: June, 2020. Goal 3: Create Center of Excellence in AEV/IoT/AI & 3 students start-ups in Incubator. Stipulated Time: November, 2020. Cluster 5. NETRA-RIT

NETRA-RIT What are the probable obstacles/ shortcomings /problems that may arise in realizing your goals? - More interaction with students and faculty to have interdisciplinary domains. - More collaborators with local community and Industries for Ideas.. - Government/Private support in terms of funding. - Need to conduct more YUVA entrepreneurship programs to get student start-ups
