This workshop also covers the steps for effectively using Proctorio in a course. Participants will learn what Proctorio can do to protect the integrity of online work and the options for its use in different testing scenarios. Finally, participants will learn how to set up a quiz in their Canvas class using Proctorio and how to review the results. How to Limit Cheating on Online Exams in Canvas FlipGrid: Video for Student Engagement April 8 | April 12 Participants will learn to incorporate Flipgrid for language development, community building, immediate feedback, and student reflection. Flipgrid is a digital platform that allows teachers to post to spark conversations and students create short videos to respond. This technology is used for online discussions, peer assignments, sharing group assignments, and other active learning approaches. Participants will learn how to use Flipgrid as a formative assessment tool and as a tool of inclusivity to encourage discussion participation.
