For example, The Apache of North America, have a ritual to commemorate a young girl’s transition to womanhood between the ages 12 and 14. There’s a four day ceremony where the girl wear’s special clothing, face paint, and there’s dancing, feasting, etc. Does your culture have any coming of age rituals that you have been through or will go through? Why is this ritual important?
