  2. To-Do List… • Grab your portfolio from the back drawer once everyone in your group has arrived. • Grab an air quality book from the side counter • Get your journal out and create 3 new entries titled: • THE STORY OF MALAIRE • THE LORAX • MAKING CONNECTIONS • AIR COMPARE

  3. Story of Malaire • Grab an Air Quality book from the side counter. • Create a journal entry called “The Story of Malaire” • Read pages 3-7 in the Air Quality Book • Answer questions #1-4 in complete sentences in your journal.

  4. The LoraxVideo • Create another journal entry called “The Lorax” • Copy the questions below into your journal and leave space to answer them. • Then watch the video to answer the questions  • What is air quality like in the video? • What contributes to this air quality? • What are some examples of “thneeds” in your life that people think we need but may be impacting our environment?

  5. Making Connections • Draw a venn diagram to compare and contrast Malaire with The Lorax and the real world. • Be specific!
