  5. Finding the slope • Slope= Rise / Run = 1/1 = 1 Runs over 1 Rises 1

  6. Finding the y-intercept The line intercepts the y-axis at point (0,2) Therefore, the y-intercept is 2.

  7. Plugging in the variables y= mx+b y= 1x+ 2 m= slope m= 1 b= y-intercept b= 2
