TechBoston Academy Mission Statement TechBoston Academy’s essential belief is that by providing an environment that is both nurturing and challenging, every student can learn and develop into a responsible citizen. TechBoston Academy, a pilot high school within the Boston Public Schools, offers a college preparatory curriculum, which includes interdisciplinary project-based learning, where technology is the bridge that connects the students to their learning experiences.

JROTC Curriculum Materials • Seven Units of Instruction: • Citizenship in Action • Leadership Theory and Application • Foundations for Success • Wellness, Fitness, and First Aid • Geography, Map Skills, and Environmental Awareness • Citizenship in History and Government • Cadet Safety and Civilian Marksmanship Program (Optional) Interactive/Multi-media/Developed in conjunction with the latest research on student learning

Five Day Camp • Drill Competition • Physical Fitness • Raider Challenge • Online Academic and Leadership Competition • JCLC Instruction: • Rappelling • Leadership Reaction Course • Map Reading and Land Navigation • Water Survival • Water Rafting • Static Displays • Alcohol and Drug Abuse Sessions • Organized Activities • Staff Ride to Lexington and Concord Massachusetts • Personal Hygiene and Field Sanitation CADET Shaulita Francis (Class of 2014)
