  1. Become Fluent in Spanish and be Bi-Lingual At Last!

  2. How many people do you know that speak different languages? Do people speak just as much Spanish in your area as they do English? Do you hate when other people get together and speak different languages around you while you stand there without a clue what they are saying? They may be calling you names and disrespecting you and there's nothing you can do about it because you don't know what they are saying! That's one good reason to become fluent in Spanish.

  3. You shouldn't expect people to stop speaking their language just because you don't speak it. Don't be offended, especially if it's your friends. I don't think they mean any disrespect towards you. They feel comfortable talking in Spanish with others that speak the same language. Are you going to stand there and just be upset? If you can't beat them, join them! Why not take that as a sign that it's time for you learn how to speak Spanish?

I'm sure there are many more, but here are some good reasons to become fluent in Spanish: Being bi-lingual opens up more communication – When you speak the other language that is commonly used besides English, you have better relationships with those who speak it. How can you not get along better with people when you speak their language? When you eliminate the language barrier, you can become more likeable.

  5. Looks great on a resume – Lots of employers love a person who speaks more than one language. Speaking Spanish can definitely help you out in this area. Knowing Spanish can help you beat out your competition. This may help you get paid more money!

  6. Excellent to know when you go on vacation - If you go on vacation to Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, or any other Spanish speaking place, you will feel so much better knowing that you understand the native language. No more taking out the dictionary whenever you want to ask someone a question, or when you want to order food or drinks!

  7. Has advantages if you are single – If you are single then you will open up the door to an entire group of people who you would not be able to speak to if you don’t know Spanish.

  8. There are more pros than cons when it comes to trying to become fluent in Spanish. I think expanding your mind to learn another language is great and it should have long term positive effects. Why think about it anymore? Start today!
